Get Ready!

Happy Juneteenth!!

Whew! Can you all believe that it is June 20th, 2022, already. We are half -way through the year and I am completely obsessed with life, freedom and love so today is absolutely befitting for all three. I hope that those of you who were able to take a day to relax and reflect that you do just that. For those of you who are a little like me with a full work calendar on Juneteenth’s observance GOD bless YOU and LOG OFF early. 😊 I stand with you, and I support this action.

Get Ready!

That’s the message this week. I am learning that preparation is super key to success. Now before you tune me out, hear me out. Preparation is defined as the action or process of making ready or being made ready for use or consideration. How do you wish to be used? At home? With your friends? On your job, in the community. No matter what your answer may be there is a level of preparation attached to it rather you have truly identified what that is or not. I found myself over the past few days in positions that required me to adapt to something new abruptly. In the past, my response would be I’m not ready but, in this season, I am learning to approach everything ready or NOT.

Are you prepared to do the same? If not, Get Ready!

This 2nd half of the year is going to be full of opportunities for the well prepared and ready! You won’t always see it coming, it may even catch a few of you off guard but your preparation for the season will make you ready!

A friend shared a quote yesterday and it has stuck with me ever since “You fight how you train; you do everything how you do one thing” and that alone confirmed my thoughts. The training and preparation are the exact thing that will help you win the fight! If you are committed to do all things well, then I further challenge you to prepare well too you owe this moment to YOU!
